Current Category Tortilla

Tortilla are the round plates of smalti (known as pizza in Italy) from which the smaller tesserae in the smalti range are hand cut. The two sides with differing textures are shown in the picture. The tortilla pieces can be cut with a hammer and hardie to make large inserts in smalti or mixed media projects. The yellow tortilla is 10 mm thick, about twice that of the standard smalti range.

We will select at least one large piece and add others to come as close as possible to the 500gm weight.
